Grateful for a sleepless night that I was not tempted to use alcohol to quell.
Grateful I rarely think of alcohol except in terms of gratitude that it is out of my life.
Grateful recovery from alcoholism feels like a medical and spiritual miracle.

Grateful to have sober friends who saved me from following my own will, and following that of a higher power.
Grateful, that my sponsor without knowing anything randomly sent me a text at 6:00 AM saying "it's a great day to be sober, I love you." Powerful.

Grateful that I was able to pull things together yesterday despite myself.

I keep listening and listening to learn and it gets different one day at a time, and I am so grateful for all of the friends who continue to expand my recovery.

Marcher yes the AV lies in wait... but keep holding on and don't give it the time of day.... and it will skulk away or die of boredom! Promise! You are doing such a terrific job.
Grateful for waking up.
Grateful though it is raining hard it is a warm rain, like a spring rain.
Grateful I get to see my 2 1/2 year old grandson today /night and babysit him. (Did I mention he is a genius??)

Grateful for a day where March winds and showers will bring in May flowers soon I hope.
I hope the bitter winter did not prevent our beautiful cherry blossoms this year.
However, recovery means shining a happy light on whatever is going on, so how can I complain cause God loves me and who am I to argue with God.
And, I have 27 years, 11 months, and 24 days today.
