I'm grateful right now for being able to spend a great weekend with my son up at the Navy's sub. school. It wasn't very long ago he usually didn't even want to talk to me.

You betcha! He and my youngest (daughter) are headed down real good paths. She's in school in San Diego right now and coming back in a couple weeks for the summer. I know I'm finally gong to be able to spend good quality time with her. My oldest (my other daughter) has gone astray. She's now living with me and I know that I'll be able, over time, to nudge her back on track now that I am.

My oh My, so grateful, Lord, for the guidance in finding that needed document.

It was looked for in the same place at least 5 times.
Advice was given to pray about it.
The advice was heeded.
You said "it's there" and there it was.
Let that be an example for the person looking for that document. Pray first.

So grateful when someone realizes God's power.

Had an idea, briefly yesterday, to stop by the bottle shop, 2 different ones.

Grateful to be led to turn my nose up at them and walk/ drive by. They are next to where I go regularly.

Such a good feeling to not feed "the beast". Kick it to the curb.

I was applying mascara this morning and remembered so many days when I couldn't put on any because my hands were so shakey.

Grateful for steadyness.
Like someone said on another thread, it's the little things that count in sobriety.

Achieving Sobriety is managed in a combined variety of ways!! Lookin' good counts but needs steady hands. Good Job!! I remember the shakiness as if it was yesterday. I XXX Volume the five little lashes I have and it's a miracle. Ippy

Thank you God that my Daughter is going to be okay even tho she broke her leg yesterday. She was trying to traverse some river rocks and slipped and fell. My heart is sad, being her Mother, but I know God will help her to quickly recover. She is in Hawaii but returning home later in the week. Makes me wonder how those people with 19 kids remain sane!!!
