Grateful that SR is here today when the family is in crisis mode from my Sister's trauma on Christmas Day...she is better now after hospitalization while drinking and taking an antidepressant. Her experience serves as a good wakeup call to all in our family, including a reminder to me.
Grateful to be sober and looking forward to my Women's AA today where I find it especially important today
Grateful for my Sobriety and attribute it to 90 percent Higher Power and 10 percent my own ability to turn it all over, especially in really tough times
Grateful I can share a few resentments with my Sponsor today and then let it all go and enjoy the Spirituality of Christmas
Grateful I can realize I can only control what I do, not someone else's
Grateful I have SR friends who always understand and offer comfort; also Grateful for my Sponsor who tells me to let go of some of the behaviors of my family

Grateful I'm feeling so much better this morning than last evening (chills, sore throat, generally miserable).
Grateful for the awareness being in AN has brought me; practicing loving detachment in so many unhealthy relationships around me, start looking after me.
So grateful my AN meeting is tonight - really need it this week.

Thank You, Rusty. I have asked Higher Power to help her begin to recover. She knows I will take her to meetings this weekend but no reply on that. Prayer and lighting candles do wonders tho. Your note and encouragement means a lot. Wish I could see your band play but will be hoping you have a grand time. My best, Ipanema

Grateful for the good sleep I've been getting lately. It's been many months since I've had any decent sleep, so I am very grateful for some hours at a time.

Grateful for the snowstorm last evening: I was too sick to go my AN meeting but the storm made it easier to stay at home.
Grateful for finding some hot lemon medicine tucked away in my cupboard - sipping on it right now.
Grateful for SR - it's like a "virtual meeting" when I'm unable to attend in person.
Grateful for my son who shovelled the driveway after only asking him once.
