Grandpa, I'm glad it wasn't more serious and hope your wife heals quickly.
Some of my day will be spent getting my Dad's shower set up for safety. He slipped the other day, thankfully his therapist was there to grab him.
Thank you God, for caregivers.

Thank you God for each and every Post here today...All are humbling to me as I was practicing a bit my pity pot prior to reading those posts that helped reboot my Altitude...
Thank you God that my children are doing well and theirs are as well. With Drs. approval and some bit of weight loss..ok, let's be honest...a good deal of weight loss, I can travel to Latvia where one Son in Law is stationed, to visit them and see my Granddaughters aged 9 thru 13 (subject of my pity pot)
Thanks again for all who posted today and grtgranpa praying for you're wife's quick recovery...and Astro, your Dad is blessed to have you as a Sober Son

Thank you God, for the four people who took my Dad to lunch yesterday, his grief support group.
And thank you God for giving me an hour to go fishing. It was good to decompress for awhile.

Thank you God for directing me to two Al-Anon meetings today that I greatly needed. I hear myself talking about Al-Anon to others but have been in denial about it myself. One in the day and the other is at night. I am speaking of a family member who has her own children I wish to be close to, so I am walking a slippery slope here. I feel great relief already just making the plan as my emotional sobriety is very important or it can lead to a relapse out of frustration.
