Thank You God ... Part 14
Thank you God for the love of one alcoholic for another that was told to us in the quote from The Master, "The Kingdom of God is in Your Heart". I feel His love today shining from all of my recovering SR members.
Thank you God for my wonderful brother. Not only did he and my SIL host the Christmas party yesterday, but he also took all the kids five and under outside and run around with them for a long time, At least two hours. For 60 he was pretty impressive. . He took special care to connect with my toddler grandson whom he hasn't seen since last Christmas. He had a tall teen nephew dress as Santa and distribute gifts to the little ones.
He sat with me and asked me about my pain level and Drs visit and about my plans in hunting for another car. He took care of my dog at their house for two full days while I was recovering upstate and praised me about him (and nobody in my family loves my frenetic dog) . He is really such a lovely man and has always been the best big brother. At 51 I still am proud to be his little sister.

Thank you God for another Christmas for us to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ who told us the truth when He said, "foolish people so slow to believe". I am sober by His grace only because I did believe that God would restore me to sanity.
Thank you God for a sober Christmas day, for the walk I just took in the country park and for getting to see the glow of the sun coming through. God bless everyone, especially those whose day for whatever reason is difficult
From the bottom of my heart thank you God for all the blessings in my life, the love, guidance & protection you give, come rain or shine. All I ever need do is stay willing & close
