Bedtime Gratitude-Part 31
Grateful to return to a support group for mood disorders I hadn't been to in a while bearing glad tidings about my progress and relatively good mental health. It was about time for some good news!
Grateful as well for maintaining a good balance between staying busy and taking it easy. I'm getting better at it with practice. I had a full AND fulfilling day without wearing myself out.
Love and hugs,
Eddie

Grateful to be busy on my projects and beginning to get into a new hobby - air gun target shootin' .. Grateful to look at the 'count up' gadget on my computer and read 323 days (sober) and had a visit from a old friend earlier.
Grateful that I am home safely from my travels.
Grateful that even though the four adults with me drank, I did not.
Grateful I honored my commitment to myself and reached my 6 month sober anniversary on Thursday.
Hope you all are well!

Awesome news, EQ!!

Grateful for my ability to enjoy getting sweaty, muddy, scraped, and soaked with a group of mostly strangers today at Stone Mountain, NC. I'm glad I've incorporated playfulness and curiosity into the principles I practice regularly.
And grateful for our Meetup host, Steve, who routinely leads hikes around Stone Mountain. I really appreciate his efforts, his sense of humor, and his general demeanor.
Love and hugs,
Eddie
WELCOME HOME, KIM!!
Grateful I can ignore my brother's warnings not to tell my mom certain things. I no longer let it bother me whether she "nags" or not, so I no longer have to watch what I say as much. Freedom. Hallelujah!
And grateful for having the patience to take a very gradual approach to clearing privet in my yard. I take the mattock to one clump a day & not necessarily every day. Even at that rate, there is a lot of sweating and grunting involved; I sound like I'm doing karate.
Love and hugs,
Eddie

Grateful I got my dog buddy home from the vets boarding tonight after seven days. Boy did i miss him! Grateful for lots of furry snuggles tonite!
Grateful the little girl next door made me a little birdhouse, since the birds built a nest above my door eave. She left it on my doorstep. I have been such a grouch that I feel undeserving of her sweetness. Sigh.
Grateful I can try again tomorrow, God willing.
