I am greatful for all of ya'll and ya'lls post. I just posted on my blog and I am greatful for who God has made after all the things I chose to put myself through. I have people here who understand what I have gone through and can honestly say they can relate to things or feelings that I am or have experienced. Tears right now because I am so greatful to just be HERE, SOBER, ALIVE,ABLE. AWARE. To be reminded of just how blessed I am. Thank You God I am VERY GREATFUL for everything in this NOW TIME.

Grateful to order an iced tea, receive an iced tea and not feel disappointed about... well you know.
Felt a bit beaten\overwhelmed by my projects this morning, but my HP got my butt moving, outside, up on the ladder and got the front gable of our garage primed...
(Crazy how I'm fine up to about 10 feet, then fear of heights kicks-in the last 3 feet .)

Fandy, I've never watched Glee, but I've known Jane Lynch (aka Diana Reid) rocks for years from seeing her in Christopher Guest's movies, e.g., Best in Show.

EternalQ: For a delighted dog that brings back the ball for me to throw with intense excitement...
Ah, yes, the simple pleasures. My poor old Lab is too gimpy to do much ball chasing anymore, much as she'd like to.

Grateful for a good balance today between being responsible and taking it easy. Balance and acceptance are so key to maintaining some serenity in life as I'm finding more every day.

Also grateful for getting some hope about keeping my house from my mom's financial advisor, especially after the horrible conversation I had with my dad's attorney yesterday. It was a welcome contrast. I just hope he can help me work something out. Fingers crossed.

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Grateful that even though I had an overwelming 11 hr day at work, I will get paid for it, and, I was able to set some boundaries and I stayed calm and a few other people noticed I was drowning and tried to help me. AND I am now in my jams with my pooch in bed and I did not drink to cope with stress when I got home. I jogged a bit with the dog. Goodnight, friends.

Grateful for all the varying post here at SR, some good, some otherwise, but all examples to learn what to do and what not to do! I will remain teachable in order to grow.

grateful that i'm not drinking to cope with the stress at work...i could feel it and made a smart decision....after giving myself every stupid excuse i could think of

smart Fandy vs. cunning Fandy...smart Fandy took a deep breath and had dinner, told cunning Fandy to STFU....i can't go for a walk cos i have to stay off my cankle....i tore the CFL, (outer tendon).

grateful for prayers and breathing

Good choice Fandy, I hope you feel better!

Tonite I am grateful that I took the dog to a park five minutes near home tonite for an outdoor concert. Seven years Ive lived down the street from the park and always wanted to go and never did. Too busy drinking before....

Sending warm healing thoughts for your cankle, Fandy.

Grateful I picked up a friend I hadn't seen since I got back and went to a support group meeting at the local Mental Health Association that I hadn't been to in ages. It was really good; I don't know why I keep forgetting how much good meetings do me. One of life's great mysteries, I guess...

Also grateful I handled multiple frustrations around getting blood work so I can get my medication. It looks like I will have to do a lot of running around from the doctor's, to the lab & back to pick up results, and then to the pharmacy...Grrr. But I was much better able to roll with the punches than I would have been a few months ago. Yea!

L&H,
Eddie
