Grateful to be waking up with my alarm more consistently (~6am). Caught mom having a low blood-sugar episode this morning and helped her out of it, later I took her to get her hair done and eat at Red Lobster. Making great progress on my renovation projects, garage just needs some finishing touches and am almost done siding our 16x8 shed... Then comes painting (JOY)
Good night all.

(karilynn: wtg! I'm still vaping 18mg nicotine in my setup, about to order new juice, I might try going down to 12mg)

Grateful that I spent a few hours yesterday viewing the Venus transit, and that I could share the event with several people.

I'm grateful that I started a new project at work today. I have been dreading it, but i dove in and started it. I figure i am that much closer to finishing it...(I am revising an entire catalog for med students and I HATE IT).

i'm grateful i'm sober and my crabby mood has nothing to do with alcohol. this too shall pass after i finish the work.

Grateful that I have a ride home from the Drs tomorrow as I can't drive for a few days.
Grateful that when I am scared, I can come on SR and be comforted, knowing you guys are all here too.

Thanks Scolova
Third day and I haven't noticed a difference so that's a good sign.
Grateful to be sitting in a wheat field listening to the sounds of the country

WELCOME free, and THANKS for sharing! I'm 45 and kind of starting over, too. I just got home yesterday from 8 weeks in residential treatment for "core issues," i.e., trauma and abuse. Yup, I finally got tired of going from one form of addiction to another and avoiding the REAL problems. Needed some serious 4th Step work, I think.

Hey, y'all! I've been over in Tennessee over the last couple of months. I am very grateful for the treatment I received AND to be home at last.

I'm also grateful for lots of spiritual growth and connection and for the 12 Step program of recovery working in my life. Whoo-bleepin'-hoo!!

Love and hugs and glad to be back,
Eddie Z.

Tonight I am grateful that I pushed myself hard and got tomorrow's client writing done today. That way, I can sleep in and cuddle with my bf instead of trying to write at the crack of dawn! Woo-hoo!
