Grateful for being off work today. Grateful I did four loads of laundry with a working washer and dryer and didn't have to use a laundramat like I did off and on for many years.

Grateful the dog didn't freak out too badly from the firework noises nearby.

Grateful that Dan Wells new novel came out yesterday and I am halfway through it already.

Grateful for freedom, democracy, tolerance, and that differing views can abide within the greatness of peace.

Grateful to have SR friends from around the planet! : )

Grateful I have SR to come back to when the voice tells me "it's okay\I'm okay to have one now." ...
Reminds me of a conversation from the Star Trek movie - First Contact;
-Lieutenant Commander Data: And for a time, I was tempted by her offer.
-Captain Jean-Luc Picard: How long a time?
-Lieutenant Commander Data: 0.68 seconds sir. For an android, that is nearly an eternity.

(and very grateful to be joined together with others here on our first sober 4th. )

Grateful that I now have the strength to handle being stood up by my friend without freaking out and taking it personal.

Grateful that I can come to SR and get support for that situation.

Grateful to be all cuddled up on my couch with my stuffed hippo, getting ready to make one more post and then curl up with Hippo and my book.

Grateful for such a blessed and awesome life.

Grateful for incredible progress in my ability to bring myself back to the moment. It makes even just driving around town a very different experience from what it used to be. I didn't obsessively plan my routes and I still got where I needed to go!

And grateful to be getting more new mental health services lined up. I have been trying for the past year to find a new therapist among other things and the prospects are looking up.

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Scollova: love the star trek quote.

Grateful for my daughter asking me for advice tonight. Makes me feel responsible. Grateful my stepgrandaughter wrote me a note saying how lucky she is to have me as a grandmother. Oh what a moment it was for me when I read that. Heaven.

Grateful that three other people told me I don't look anywhere close to 50 which I just turned. LOL I will take it!

Grateful I "passed" my annual certification for house hold help.
On the other hand...it means I'm considered "physically fragile"

It's often difficult to face the realities of old womanhood.
My spirit tells me i'm 27 ...the mirror disputes ...

Sweet dreams

Evening Grats,

Carol lol I sure relate to the mirror telling me I am 25 but my body say other wise.

Hope everyone has a sweet night.
