always grateful for deep restful sleep....(even though Ozzy woke me up at 430AM, he felt it was breakfast time).

always grateful to wake up sober and not hungover.....it's been a while but i don't forget cotton-mouth and that pounding headache. ugh.

Grateful to be recovered from my addictive personality disorder. With sobriety great things can happen.

Grateful that I could help my Son move a bunch of furniture from his fiancee's apartment to his house - even though it wore me out. I'm still beat and sore today.

Grateful that I know I must nurture my sobriety each and everyday.

And grateful that I have learned that me and my life are well worth the effort and time it takes.

Grateful that such a small investment can reap great rewards for myself and others.

Grateful, soooo grateful, that you all are here!! Thank you!

Grateful, once again to be reminded to practice gratefulness...... I am grateful for all the positives in my life, and grateful to be learning how to be optimistic about my gifts and not dwell on the negatives......

I'm grateful for the page turner I'm currently reading (Wired: The Short Life and Fast Times of John Belushi). Its written by one of the men involved in "All The President's Men" and is a fascinating look at somebody I never thought I'd have an interest in.

So I'm also grateful for my open mind to try new challenges.

me too, i think...i left the window open last night (so the ants can just leave) and woke up at 330AM, stuffy andcrabby, with cats on my head. this was the prime trigger to drink in the past to get back to sleep.

instead i took 2 tylenol for my headache, fed the cats and cleaned up, and was actually able to get back to sleep! not enough but a much better alternative.

grateful for strong coffee! i do have my Italian Roast addiction and the keurig, but i'll live

Grateful lately I have been talking myself down when I notice my anger or sadness start to rise. Grateful that I even notice them rising so early on...
