good morning gratties...grateful that the day is MINE. i am not sharing it with a bottle of booze that steals everything from me. that is a powerful thought.
grateful to laugh and grateful to hope. there are so many more possibilities when i'm sober. and so much less depression.

So thankful I have a whole weekend off. Mostly I am so thankful to wake up early, sober almost a whole year, to a peaceful home with lots of doggies, coffee & internet. I am so happy. I hope everyone has a beautiful Saturday.
Grateful that I maintained my patience yesterday when taking my 90 year old Dad to his appointments and then (unexpected) shopping afterwards. Even though I was frustrated I didn't let it show one bit. Was I hung over that would not have been possible.

Grateful for my second Sober Saturday this year! Grateful to feel so good.
Grateful that I can see so many opportunities for myself.
I'm grateful that I'm starting to understand that I have not given something up, but gotten something back. Amazing.
