Grateful to be here on SR to start this new thread...thanks Dee.

Grateful for all your kind thoughts and words yesterday...they honestly touched my heart!! The Dr says that my father is in the final stretch, and will be passing on soon. It will be a blessing when it happens. He has struggled with Alzheimer’s for more than a decade...as horrible as that disease is, it always finds a way of just getting worse...maybe soon it will release him!

Good morning everyone -

Grateful to dump myself in the shower and drive to work for 6am without a hangover and with a full tank of gas which my former alcohol fund now funds.
