I am grateful for my little rat: Mousey Carlotta Eeek (Mousey for short).
She is sweet, loving, humble, funny and very smart. That little girl does not have a mean bone in her body.
She has a knack for knowing when I do not feel good and loves me unconditionally whether I have money or not, look nice or look like hell or not so long ago was drunk or sober.
I chose to use her middle name as a moniker on this board and her picture as an avatar because she is such a good little soul.

Before I joined the board, I read their thing about anonymity and I was not sure what name to use and I looked down and here she was sitting on my laps, grooming herself...and I thought:"that's it, Carlotta will be my screen name". It's also fitting because little mousey does like beer, she d take a little sip out of my glass (I never got her drunk don't worry).
I wish more people where like her, she is truly good and guileless. If someone would have told me last year that I d have a pet rat and completely fall in love with her I would have said they were crazy LOL

I absolutely adore my two dogs and my cat. They are all the company I need and love me no matter what. That kind of love is hard to come by and I am grateful for them beyond words.
