Snoopy woke me up to go potty and now I can't get back to sleep. When I let him in again he got up on the bed and woke the other two. I petted Patchie-poo and she rolled over for a tummy rub.:) She's not shy about asking for what she wants.;)

I often sit on the bed and watch them sleeping at night when I can't sleep. Such a peaceful sight: the dogs all sprawled out on the bed sleeping the sleep of happy secure doggies.:)

I am so grateful to be mommy to these dogs!:)

Awww, Impurrfect, I love that pic of your kitties staying warm in the glow of the lamp.
I hope you got your papers done with all that help :)

Least, I know what you mean about dogs on the bed. I only have my one, but I love to see her sprawled out, so content and peaceful. Makes me feel like all is right with the world. And in her world, it is! I have a lot to learn from her.

What's so rewarding also is knowing that my sobriety is the reason I can take such good care of them.:) That I'm doing the best job and giving them the best care makes me feel like superman.:)

This morning Im grateful to wake up to a bed full of dogs.:) And last night when I let Patches out for bedtime potty I went and did something else. When I came back to the door she was sitting in front of it waiting to be let in!:) Such a sweet smart dog she is. Today is one week since I got her but it feels like she's always been here.:)

Just watched a cool video on one of my "feed a shelter pet" sites I click on every day. The dog is paraplegic - spinal cord accidentally cut in back surgery, but his "dad" has a harness that he holds up his back legs and boy, can that dog RUN. Dad has a little system rigged in the garage that the dog can chase a ball, and he does exercises to work the muscles in the back legs.

Have no clue how to post it here, but it is really cool. Dog and dad are best friends (and this is NOT a small dog) and the love they feel for each other is obvious.

Pretty cool way to start my day:) I fell asleep with Elvis, woke up with Patches on me. They're out enjoying the nice weather and Mots is in the corner of my room..one of his spots.

Hugs and prayers,

Amy

my pets are like my children....only easier to care for and more grateful, less expensive.

and they never want to borrow my credit card or car.

That dog looks so sweet you are so lucky suki. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have my Princess although I miss my Angel & Sky.

Grateful for the dogs sleeping on my rug, and the peaceful atmosphere they bring to the room.:)

Really grateful that Snoopy is such a good 'doorbell'.:) Dk yells at him for barking but I always tell her to shut up, he's doing a great job as watchdog and should be praised for it, not yelled at.

My evening ten minutes of true serenity: feeding the dogs. I like the routine of feeding them, putting their dinner together and then serving it.:) I am most grateful just to be able to feed them so well and watch them enjoy their food.:) I love the feeling of understanding between me and my dogs and am constantly amazed by their devotion.

Grateful for these dogs and all I learn from them about love.:)

^^^^^That is SO cute!! There is nothing cuter than kittens!

Thanks watching it makes me want to get Princess a little pal but it would get me kicked out of my rental if I got caught. Plus I don't like drama and living a lie.

(((Suki))) - what a precious picture!!!

(((Newby))) - love the video. Kittens are just too cute!!

(((Least))) - our ((Tinker)) also is a very good watchdog. Of course, she hides as she's barking, and is usually still AT it when whoever was at the door is in the next county, but I always tell her "SUCH a good watch dog, SUCH a good, good girl" and she'll stop barking, whole body wags with her tail:)

Hugs and prayers,

Amy

Little Patchie poo is doing so well here. ONly been here ten days but seems like always.:) She's so sweet and I've fallen madly in love with her sweet self.:) I am so glad I took her. She's now living the good life with me and loving it.:)
