Grateful to enjoy doing little things in my world to make my life a little more enjoyable.

Grateful that I am slowing learning to give up procrastinating - it takes awhile to get over this bad habit.

Grateful to be enjoying being sober - just so many benefits.

Grateful for healthy living today - one day at a time works well for this goal.

Grateful for the necessities of life and thankful for the added bonuses

Grateful for love and friends.

Have a wonderful sleep everyone.

Grateful foe the realization that misery has a purpose. Only when we are uncomfortable in life can we change. All the emotions I tried to bury under booze where supposed to be teaching me how to get out of my comfort zone...better late than never.

Grateful for Big Lots' big selection of international cookies!

Grateful that there will be a break from the hot weather.

Grateful to appreciate, truly appreciate sobriety, because for too many it remains elusive.

Good night, all.

Grateful indeed for my sober life . So much good comes from my sobriety and I won't 'forget' it again.

Thanks, IO & RZ!!

Grateful I got down to some hard truths with my therapist here today about just how dam* paranoid I really am and why it's so hard for me to be open and honest with people about how I truly feel.

And grateful that I played a silly game with several of the other girls here. I am in a much better mood this evening than I have been in a while. Glad I'm making changes.

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Grateful for coming home to a freshly mowed yard..the kid that lives behind me did it while I was at work..
Grateful for all the recent rain. We don't get rain very often here..and it has greened everything up so nicely. My home office is in Bismarck ND and I feel bad for them..major flooding going on. We have to beg for rain but they can't find a shut off valve! Lots is from the mountain run off as well.
Grateful for a peaceful day. Also ..very grateful for my sobriety. I have been loving it each day. I saw a show a LONG time ago..can't remember who all was in it but it starts in a nursing home..I think it was the Twilight Zone now that I am remembering..anyway all the old people get reversed in time in their sleep. 2nd chances at their childhood. You see them out swinging and playing (still look old but you get the drift that they are young trapped in old bodies) and that is what I feel like. It is a belated 2nd chance. I have not felt this good in years...g'night all!

Grateful all we girls here had some good laughs together this evening. I even snorted a couple of times which made us even more amused.

And grateful I got to talk to my therapist back at home on the phone again today. He grilled me about my thoughts about staying in a hotel here and doing day treatment. It was a good kind of grilling, though. He asked some very relevant questions.

Have a lovely night, all!!
Love and hugs,
Eddie

Grateful to see a lot of positive and thoughtful posts tonight!

Grateful when I feel open minded and have loving feelings towards people. It is so much better than fear. To me open mindedness is key. When I let myself believe "to each his own" (which I truly believe) I have so much less fear and anxiety than when I worry what is "right."

Grateful for my daily walks. They are so important for my spirits and I haven't missed one in, like, months!

Grateful for the cool weather right now, my place gets unbearably warm inside once it gets above the seventies outside so I'm very grateful for the late onset of summer in my area right now.
Grateful for the book I read by a celebrity about their addiction, it gave me hope and helped to give me a reminder about how deceptive and sneaky addiction is.
Goodnight everyone, thank you for being here.
