My little girl is coming out of her shell

I had hermit crabs once..I just thought the shells looked way cool. Didn't read the instructions before I brought them home..much to my horror you have to BATHE them or you will end up with mites. The kicker is..once you put them in the distilled water for their baths they crawl out of their shells...GROSS! I cannot stress the gross factor enough..I was so grossed out. Anyway..

Grateful to no longer have hermit crabs.
Grateful for my 4 day wkend..
Grateful for Kevin..he keeps me amused-
Grateful for SR
Night everyone!!!

Eww. Naked hermit crabs. Not a pleasant image there, MCB. teehee.

Grateful for at least one of the staff here recognizing how open-minded I've been about their program.

And grateful for the girls here encouraging me to interrupt them if I need/want to talk. It will still be hard for me to do, but their encouragement may make it a bit easier.

Happy "Friday Eve," all!!
Love and hugs,
Eddie

Glad to hear your results were good, Carl!

Thanks for the honey dew tip Carol . . . I messed up and got one that was almost over ripe last week. It was good the first day at least . . .

Grateful to have had an hour long phone conversation with one of my oldest friends this evening. Grateful we have maintained our friendship for so many years. Grateful he has forgiven me for some totally jerky things.

Grateful to have time and spare funds to do a little shopping today, a few practical items that I will make good use of.

Grateful for poking around SR and stumbling upon the Book Club section where I found some great book recommendations and light reading which made my day.

Grateful my yearly free diabetic shoes can be picked up today
No they are not stylish , tho fit comfortably ..and free is freee...

Greatful to use the SS resources without embarrassing guilt.
I paid into them for about 55 years.

Peeny...just finished an audio book..."Bad Men" By John Connelly
Very strange....gory and nothing to do with recovery...don't read
unless you are a Stephen King or James Patterson or James Lee burke fan.

Night all...whatever your plans are for today ..keep moving forward ..

naked crabs OMG I could really go with that one but I'll be good

Starting to get really nervous about my trip home. I hope I can keep my mouth shut cause there is no communication or honesty in my family.

Some siblings tend to be very fake like "Oh Judy we missed you so much" but yet they hardly ever call, or I am the one who sends cards at every holiday or e mails and I don't even get as much as a thanks I got your card or e mail. Then when I say something my one brothers wife says well he is really busy working. My response always is how hard is it to take 5 minuted out of your day to call someone. I don't buy that s***

So going home and acting like we are this loving close knitted family kills me I hate fake.

On the flip side though I am grateful I get to spend time w/my dad I am still his little Princess and I miss him soooo much.

Wow guys I had no clue I was going to rant and rave like that I guess some of this should of went on the whiners page btw is an awesome thread.

Nite Nite

Grateful this evening to be very tired -- but that means it has been a productive day. I will sleep great tonight.

Grateful that I always have frozen pizza in the freezer for evenings like tonight.

Grateful for the beautiful weather.

Grateful that the day is winding down and will be able to relax and read soon.

Sleep tight everyone!

Lol - the hermit crabs!!!!!!!! Closest I ever got to one, except for the beach, was one with a pink shell. I had to babysit for it while a neighbor's house was being treated for termites. Glad to say it didn't talk back, listened and entertained itself without much supervision.

Grateful for a quiet day.

Grateful for air conditioning.

Have a good night, all............

Grateful to laugh and cry today when I watched a moving clip on youtube.

Grateful for my parents, so much. They can really be awesome, and they both make me laugh.

Grateful my fiance thought of something brilliant for our wedding plans. Grateful he is creative and gets good ideas easily . . . this idea was not something I had thought of and it immediately made me really excited about planning (which is not my nature!) Hopefully it can work out, but I'm grateful to know it's best to take hopes lightly and keep them hopes instead of expectations.

Night GP!

Will be thinking of you on your trip home, newby

Glad you'll get to see your dad, I know you must be looking forward to that.

If you start jumping out of your skin during your visit, you know you can always log on to SR!

Grateful that the thunderstorms here today didn't turn into major floods.

I am thankful for the weekend. Been a busy week. Not thankful for having to work the holiday, but those are the breaks. Hopefully I'll catch up a little.

Grateful that the SPCA here could take in 20 dogs from flooded Mississippi, where people not only lost their homes, but their pets too. Grateful my dogs are here with me, that I still have my home.
