Bedtime Gratitude-Part 20
WTG MsC!
Grateful to learn that my not quite yet 2 year old godson (I have 3 godsons) can find his way to my FB page on Moms iPhone. Apparently he loves that I posted a video of my dogs in the snow (the boy has good taste...he's already an animal lover) so now I am taking tons of dog videos for him...my friends will think I'm nuts
Grateful to know I can now be a sober godmother and good example to my godsons!

Grateful I did not panic when the furnace broke down in -32 weather... I have a fireplace.
Grateful my hubby was able to fix the furnace within a few hours.
Grateful I did not panic when our bobcat broke down today, we use it to clear our driveway of snow... we have gotten approx. 3 feet in the last 36 hours. We have a long driveway... 1/4 mile.
Grateful that hubby was able to fix the bobcat temporary so we could get out of the driveway if we need to go somewhere.
Grateful to not panic when we were stranded at home... I didn't need any alcohol.
Grateful to not sweat the small stuff... I knew we had lots of food, shelter and a fireplace to keep us warm and full.
I have a feeling the school buses will be canceled tomorrow... it is just crazy out and they are forecasting TONS of more snow. WOW... I haven't see a snow storm like this for a few year. It is kinda cool, but not for those driving.
Have a great Sunday night my SR friends.

70 mph wind tonight. Semis have been blowing over (6 so far)...grateful that I am not a semi driver! Will be going on all day tomorrow too according to the forecast..try walking in that..but..like Scarlett...I will worry about that tomorrow.
Grateful that I took the high road and did not give someone a piece of my mind. In my drinking days that would NEVER be an option.
Grateful for another day in soberland. I just love it. Night.

Grateful to be posting to the Gratitude forum tonight, thankful for being sober, instead of posting that I'm struggling with my recovery, or relapsed, or depressed. Some of our brothers and sisters on SR are having that kind of night. My thoughts and prayers go out those, and may the darkness clear for you.
Well said Carl...thanks!
Grateful I finished a painting today.
Grateful the table I painted turned out nice...(I'm into painted wood furniture these days...unless the wood is nice I see no reason not to)
Grateful for walking in the snow in the moonlight.

Grateful for my new (last year) stove and new cookware. Grateful that I can make something to eat any time I want to. Grateful for the dogs' company... especially when I'm eating...
Grateful my little brother decided to give up drinking too. Said he'd "do it with me." He's not an alcoholic like I am, but he has health problems that he was born with and drinking isn't advised. We went to Pete's Coffee this afternoon and caught up over tea and white mochas. It was nice.
I'm grateful because my fingers and toes are celebrating their longest existence on this planet as I type this.
I'm grateful to laugh at the simplest of things, like myself, again.
I'm so very grateful for the people that make up SR.
Pass the butter, 'cause I'm on a roll...

Pass the butter, 'cause I'm on a roll...
Grateful to find joy in each day and grateful to share that with all of you and my family.
Grateful to have energy to do things I need to do, where at one time I took this for granted.
Grateful to fully appreciate my health.
Grateful to be able to laugh at myself and the funny things that happen.
Grateful to feel content
Grateful to realize I wouldn't have any of this if I was drinking.
Grateful for 5 months of sober time.
