Morning Gratitude-Part 14
Grateful for the return of my patience, making me non-irritable when teaching my little person (6 year old girl) how to print small words to form sentences. She has a test today on a few words -- she is in grade one!

grateful for yet another peaceful night of deep sleep, sober sleep.
there is a vast difference in having regular nightly sleep of 6.5 or 7 hours than when I previously would only get 3-4 hours a night, sometimes 5 if i was lucky. i am convinced that having a truly rested little brain helps keep me on the sober track.

Grateful that the coming weekend is all mine. No obligations to meet, nowhere to go, nothing to do other than a bit of housework...
I'm also very grateful that by staying sober I am not making more problems to deal with.

Grateful for continuing the cleaning and organizational marathon of my house this weekend, with the help of my kids and hubby.
Fandy and everyone else, how is your cleaning marathon's coming along. We (our household) is actually selling some of our no longer needed treasures on a site call Kijiji... I don't know if you have that in the U.S. Anyway, it is an online place to post items that you wish to sell, you don't have to pay to list your items... I just post to our local area. We have already made $1300.00 and going to use the money to do something as a family. Everyone in the house is participating.... so, we are making money and getting the house in order. How great is that!!!!!!!!!!! Good for us!

Today I am grateful for all of the good things in my life. I am so grateful for the sunshine here in the North East. It's Sept.11 and it's a sad day for those who have lost loved ones. So I am looking for the good in this day, and it's sunny and beautiful here. No humidity. I love this weather.
I'm grateful that my son is still clean. It's over 4 months already. And each day he is more and more like himself. The change is unbelievable. It amazes me what drugs do to a young mans personality. He was a completely different person when he was using. I am so grateful to have my son back. I'm giving all of my thanks to GOD. He heard my prayers.
