I am so very grateful this Thursday for -

1. People that are put in your life to inspire you to become better.
2. Being looked out for.
3. Being of service to others.
4. A dog giving me a bath right now. LOL!
5. My son that is staying the night at Grandma's. Already I miss him.
6. The beautiful cricket sounds. (I LOVE the night and dawn sounds around here.)
7. Decaf coffee.
8. Counseling to figure things out.
9. A very early yard sale on Saturday to get to.
10. Triple digit temperatures that I know will pass when the sun sets. The beauty of NM weather is the lack of humidity and the cool mornings and nights.

Sleep well everyone.

forgive me, I have to start earlier today....(because I am forgetful lately, too much going on).

1. I am grateful that my black cloud of depression is starting to break up
2. grateful that I can see tomatoes on my plants....(they are the size of peas, but they are there).

3. grateful that the deer, chipmunks and rabbits have avoided my gardens..it's nice to see that the flowers are still blooming, instead of becoming their snacks.

(back later)

Fandy, my dear, you can start on this thread during whatever time of day best suits you. I am glad and grateful your depression is lifting. I know how you feel. Believe me on that one.

On this day I am grateful for -

1. A playdate my son has with his best friend that is moving the end of July. Happy and sad emotions, but glad for the emotions.
2. Grateful to be a sober Mommy, Wife, and friend.
3. Grateful to have found a donkey rescue that I can dedicate myself to.
4. Grateful to be in the midst of becoming a giver and trying to shed the taker hat I've worn for way too long.
5. Grateful for a beautiful sunset tonight.
6. Grateful for my wonderful Mom that spoils her daughter and grandson whenever we stop by.
7. Grateful for a husband that understands a daughter's need to go "home" to her Mom every now and again.
8. Grateful for a chance to almost finish library book #2.
9. Grateful that I have 3 more in bag just waiting for me.
10. Grateful for yard sales.

Saturday (starting)

1. grateful that I have my central ac back! they are still working on it next week, but i have cool, dry air in my house...as opposed to attempting to snuggle with a big bag of ice last weekend.

2. grateful that I have the initiative to sell my 2 portable units instead of trying to stuff them in a closet!

3. grateful that it felt GOOD, to pack up old stuff (and Mr. Fandy's clothing and underwear) to donate to the Vietnam Vets....no more CLUTTER!!!!

4. grateful that I cleaned up one room of mess and washed the walls where the furnace guy left dirty paw prints!!! my wall is rfreshly painted "Island Seagrass"....when I saw the black grime, I silently FREAKED and ran for the orange clean.

5. grateful for finding and participating in SR.....I am so thankful for everyone on here, it keeps me strong.

6. planting flowers today and enjoying the gardens I have worked so hard to create and keep nice....I can't do some of the heavy stuff, but I do like to get down in the dirt and am proud of what i've created.

7. my loving pets who are finally starting to accept each other (cats versus new dog).

8. energy! real sober energy and a positive feeling.
