Meditations for People Who May Worry Too Much book

Our minds, when left to their own tendencies, can conjure up all sorts of horrible ideas, embellish them, dress them in full regal outfits, and construct castles in which they can dwell. Our minds can even convince us that out lives are awful and just too, too difficult.
Fortunately, our hearts tend to run a more even course. When we let our hearts remember, all kinds of wonderful memories come into focus. We remember that there is always the promise of a new day and the sun will rise even if we don't see it. We remember that we will have weather and that the range of weathers feeds the earth. We remember a forgotten smile or kind word when all seemed despair. We remember that we were able to reach out to someone who needed it even when we felt needy.
Gratitude is everything.
Just thought I'd share what was in my little book for today.
I'm grateful for the peoples on the gratitude boards
In them I can see not only my own gratefulness but the abundance of gifts we can receive in our lives....if we only take the time to notice.
love you guys ~zen
