Grateful that my GF is my best friend, for the love and support that we share in recovery as well as life!

Too many thanks to catch up on so *pushing thanks button to all the posts*
Grateful although I was laid off from work today with no notice and do not know when if I will return.....that my recovery is working because I'm not in panic/angry mode just a bit lost right now. I was suppose to move into my new place in 2 weeks and may have to decline. *sigh* but I know this is where I'm suppose to be...for what reason LOL I have no clue...but there is one!
Grateful for friends too (As I'm still staying at my friends house for over a month now)
Night Bedtime bunch

Oh, Rella, that just sucks way too bad!! I am so sorry that that happened to you and I definitely sympathize. :ghug3
I am grateful that I went to some NA friends' house for a service meeting. Good people there and we got some things done that are hard to do in the full subcommittee meetings. I'm on my way back to being a part of!
Also grateful that my husband is getting better and better at catching himself when he starts to lose his temper. Often, it's a matter of him not having eaten recently, so now he knows that he needs to eat more regularly.
I'm pretty whupped. Guess I'll just say g'night.
Love and hugs,
Eddie

Mike and Lisa, grateful you've joined us on the BG thread!
I'm grateful for cooler weather in our hot little town. It might be a trick from Mother Nature, but I'll take what I can get!

Yeah, Rella, I just got my first unemployment payment today myself. Now, possibly, we can pay some of our bills.
I guess that's the first thing I'm grateful for tonight, too. I thought that money would NEVER come. Hurrah for unemployment benefits!!
And I'm grateful as well that my husband and I were able to sit down and fill out our budget paperwork for our financial counseling session tomorrow without getting into a fight over it. Now I'm just trying to figure out what I did with a small piece of paper that had all the budget items on it. It's absolutely driving me nuts. Don't you hate it when that happens?
Well, I need to stop worrying about it and go to bed. See you all tomorrow!
Love and hugs,
Eddie
