lbad how cool about knowing chad--he seems like a real neat guy and i was soooo happy at the end. he looked great!! i loved that bicycle. it was so funny and brought tears to my eyes esp when his dad was riding it.
how is he doing? i hope good!! is he "cycling" again?
i also just posted on another thread--- dan that was on june 23rd--his wife sarah is on here. hope to read updates from her that he is still doing good.
so my gratitude this morning.....

This morning I am grateful that my parents are coming back home from their trip. I am grateful that I dont have to cook supper tonight coz we are going to dinner at relatives 
Grateful my jogging has paid off and my scale looked good today
Grateful to go to work today to keep busy
Grateful I stuck to my guns yesterday when it was tough (as afternoons and before supper can be for me)
Grateful that I went to bed sober and in charge of my life
Grateful for this peace in my soul that I feel most days now, and every morning...
Have a great day everyone!

As far as I have heard (last week) Chad is doing great... He is clean/sober still living up in the hills in a clean/sober living enviroment... and yes, he is cycling again!!
All those hangouts they showed in the episode were my hangouts too!! Neat!
I still live in that neighborhood. He was a crack head though and I was a heroin addict so although I know him we ran in slightly different circles... I have been clean for 5 1/2 years too so in the recent past I have only run into him panhandling in front of Walgreen's and Taco Bel... lol
I am grateful for my yummy coffee this morning....

thanks for the update lbad and i have that episode tivo'ed will have to recheck it out--see your neighborhood. i felt so bad when he was saying that he liked where he was sleeping--i wonder what he thinks about that now

grateful for my coffee today too I tried a new kind, it is the folgers french vanilla. Yum yum.
