After hearing gossip and rumours about my best friend in recovery yesterday I'm very grateful for not feeling the need to drink over it. Need to read that thread about letting go...........

Congratulations on 18 months,Kevin.
It's cold and rainy here and it makes me feel good that I have a warm comfortable home for my family and I.Not too many years ago it probably would have been a cheap motel room.

Good morning to everyone in recovery!
I'm grateful that I'll have custody of my kids tonight and we'll get to enjoy Thanksgiving morning together.
Very grateful that we'll serve dinner to over 250 people at our Fellowship hall tomorrow.
Thankful to my higher power for my new sponsee.
Many prayers to the alcoholics and addicts who are still suffering.

Grateful for the new friends I am making this holiday season. I have three new friends that I am actually talking to on a regular basis.
I am so so so so so so so grateful for SR. I can't think of a better way I could start my day then checking in here and getting off to a good start with a reminder of gratitude.

I hope you all had a great week.I had a good Thanksgiving,but it was back to work the next day.
I'm grateful that I have almost all my Christmas shopping done.I guess I'll put the tree up next weekend.
