Its dellusional self pity that has no justification but pure insanity. Sadly... the subs make the addiction worse ... but help keep them functional. Honestly, jail for us us is horrible... but its his life.

I keep it simple these days. I'm enjoying the small pleasures. I'm cooking a lot and watching my calories. Trying to track. I think all we can do is move towards getting better.

You cant have a sunny day with a rain cloud standing next to you. Its quite difficult to let them feel their own consequences. The illusion of being their savior is only an illusion. Realizing we only have power over our own choices is the victory.

Thank you!! You know, I hate subs, I think they made it all worse for him. It's like he never ever really FEELS. When he was locked up, he wrote me about subs that it was like a record playing in his head over and over and over and that he could not feel anything around him when he was on subs. He swore up and down that he will never take them ever. 3 days out of jail he was taking them. Go figure.

I hope he doesn't get in too much trouble. Although he is a repeat offender, so I don't know. His plan is to rob something and get 'couple of years'.
