hi,
this is Kirby. i just wanted to let you all know that we (as in my adoptive family and Jay) are all very appreciative of the prayers and support. you are all so generous, and there is nothing more that is needed. Jay is coming home tomorrow morning and i doubt he'll come on the forum just yet as he's not very talkative and is still overwhelmed by this all but he is doing well physically at least. i showed him some posts and the candle website and he's going to hate me for posting this, but he cried when he read them. you all are very important to him and he obviously can feel the love and care you all have expressed.
many thanks,
Kirby

Each post here warms me with a touch as I'm sure that you have felt
over and again. A special tribute to you Jay, each and every person
here would be willing to take some of your pain if only we could.
You reflect a wonderful soul and your sharing here has made me more
than once pay attention to all your words.
Your sadness is felt.

Just an FYI...The candles at gratefulness.org only stay lit for 48 hours. Please feel free to light another candle after that time. Last I looked, we had 43 candles.

I read this late last night, couldn't respond then, I just cried, and I was so dam angry. I have never responded to any of your threads, but that doesn't mean that I did not read them, and found myself just loving you for the person that you are.
To Jason.
I am so sorry that this happened. I hope that even though what you might see now, is a cruel world, it's really not. You have so many people who love you, you may not know us, but we are here for you. You did not deserve any of the things that you went through, nor did Kirby. You have so much love in your heart. You only deserve to have good things in your life. You are an amazing person. You went through so much, but when others may have be beaten down, you kept going, and I know you will keep going again. Please don't harden your heart, your heart is too big for that.
To Kirby,
Your brothers love for you is amazing. I am so happy that you are back in his life again. He needed you as much as you needed him. So much has been going on in your life also, and I know that everyone here is also here for you too.
To Taz.
May you rest in peace. Also many thanks for keeping Jason safe. Your loyalty and your love will always be remembered. You were a great dog, and you will always be remembered. I'll never forget you.

Thinking of you today, Jay. It is raining outside here. It is a cleansing rain; it washes away my pain. I wish I could bring you some. I've found my way back here to SR, after a disturbing couple of years with yet another abusive, overwhelmingly selfish alcoholic addict. How I got involved I do not know but people do such hurtful things and I am so sorry that you have been hurt. Please know I am thinking of you and wishing you a speedy recovery, SpeedyJason. with hugs and love :ghug3
