Praise God!!! Our prayers have been answered. I don't know, I think his being in a shelter is a big step in the right direction. He didn't rely on anyone for help. He found a place on his own for help. That was good, I think! You're doing right by holding your ground. He knows you are doing it out of love. This will help him get to the next positive step.

Still praying for you,
Lyn

Ann - I'm SO relieved! God is good. Your son knew where to go and knew to call you. You knew what to do, too. Your strength and courage is inspiring, Ann. Will continue to keep you all in my prayers.

Love and hugs.

like everyone here we are all letting out that sigh
of relief ! Thank God and thank God for the program
that we try to aspire to, you have been such an
inspiration to me. To see the level I might attain
by detachment with love.

God Bless
love liddy

so glad to hear he's safe. u have been thru so much worry, and you're strength has been amazing. it is ironic to be so relieved, but i can relate. my oldest left home at 16 and i didn't hear from him for a year and a half. every night i cried and prayed and the stress was hard. i think your doing a great job in the program and i pray for u .much love and big hugs from sugar. keep us posted how things go.
ps the salvation army shelter here in rochester does amazing work and i know some people who hit bottom and climbed up thru the help of the SA and the grace of god. think positive things and keep being the wonderful person and great mom that u are.

Anns I am so happy for you even thr We've never met....

Our stories are this close in a general way.....
What it was like...
What I became......
and how it is with me today.....

From what I've read here in the short time I've been coming is we all have hearts that hurt....
but we share our victories too....
If you can have a victory than that means they are there for the rest of us...
Your victory this time as I see it YOU gave your son back his dignity....Yaaaay for anns

Mr.anns has a wonderful sense of humor..
I love your old broad angel, hopefully someday I'll look more like her.

Hugs and thanks to each of you. I couldn't get on the boards tonight until now, but I want to tell you how comforting you all have been to me.

I can't take credit for being brave - that glory goes to God who has taught me to have patience and faith. And I am grateful that it is not as difficult as it once was, although I must say I was very relieved to know he was alive. Thank you for your prayers, and I know Someone is listening.

And Rose - the new job is going fine. I am working for a small group of lawyers, who treat me well, pay me well and don't stress me out. It's a really nice building (19th floor) right inthe middle of downtown, with great shops and restaurants all around.
Only problem is that I can't get on the internet much, and have to save that for evenings.

Here's hoping the boards stay up!!! Super hugs to Jon and Bob for all the work they have done.

Ann,

I too am relieved that your son is alive and well.

Sparrow,

Thank you for sharing your prayer.

I still crash inside. Not quite harmonious yet

Hugs,
MG
