Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers! I just got back from the Dr. I was seeing out of town today. He turned out to be a very nice man and I'm really glad I decided to go somewhere else with Ethan. I come from what's classified as a small city and there has never been enough doctors here. The ones that are here have a reputation of getting you in and out as quick as possible and not necessarily taking things very seriously. The doctor I just went to let me know that if his spot closes it's not always going to hinder brain growth and his skull may very well keep growing. That said, he did say it needed to be monitered. He felt around and told me to bring Ethan back in 2 weeks. A far cry from the 3 months the other doctor was giving me. If he feels a large difference he'll get us in to see a specialist. I feel a little better at least knowing that he's going to try to catch a problem as early as possible. I would be devastated to get to 3 months and find out something could have been done earlier. I'm really scared to death about the surgery aspect. I know I love Ethan no matter what problems might come up, it's losing him that I can't imagine.

Trying to keep positive. I hope it never gets to surgery and that his skull will indeed keep growing.
