Man..I can't wait until you and your son are away from the 'everyday nonsense' of this. I went into one of my businesses today and my manager is dealing with the same thing, except his wife likes to spend loads of money. I can see the pain in his face..it's sad for all involved.
I know the hell you have been through, and continue to go through, is no joke. Some time we have to find the humor to stay sane. But every time I see a post from you I expect to laugh. My favorite was AW- A special snowflake. 😂
I can hear her quacking back a response like: "Well, I gave him a few days off since I know you can't really go anywhere!" Quack!!!
DS8 is at the ready to help dear ol' Dad with whatever I need. Will keep you guys updated once I'm coherent enough not to post something stupid due to the lingering effects of anesthesia!!!

Hope your surgery goes well tomorrow and that your recovery is smooth. You made me think of the time I fell out walking the dog (the dog took me off my feet actually), I ended up tearing my ACL (ouch). AH was drunk at the bar, I had to call my friend who was going through chemo to take me to the hospital. When AH arrived at the hospital, the doctors were more worried about him then me (UGH). It also snowed two feet that night, and I had to walk the dog while on crutches because AH was too preoccupied with his drinking. UGH, what we put up with. Thanks for sharing your story and I concur with dandylion - lol!
I hope your surgery goes well today. I went through a bunion (foot) surgery in May of 2017. This surgery was just me taking care of myself. It was pretty surreal waking up from the surgery. It was like 3 hours later in a flash. The first thing that I said to the nurse was that I did not see God. The nurse replied that it was a good thing not to see God. The nurse was talking about how wonderful my husband was. I am like thinking about the past 11 years. I was thankful that he was there for me and able to help me out and drive me home. He took care of me that day.
Divorce can bring out the worst in some people. Just stay focused and remember that your child is 50 % of both of you. It sounds like your wife is going to turn it into a competition. Even my husband wrote an entire page of everything wrong that I did as a parent in the parenting plan. It was kinda funny when our mediator looked at it and made the comment that there was not a stack of paperwork to support all the claims in the parenting plan that my husband was talking about--LOL. I think it is like a defense mechanism for him.
I felt that Divorcecare at a local church just grounded me because I could see both sides of someone who was pursing the divorce versus someone who was having to deal with a divorce that they did not want.
