Hang in there....rejection sucks - I should be a pro at handling it given my history...but no......
I am trapped in a job I loathe. Unethical people and I am treated like crap.
I will never again JUMP at the first job, I will interview THEM the way they interview ME.

Not to rain on your parade, but...I work applying daily and monitoring applications for people in OH. The agencies are usually never as efficient as they like to sound--so don't freak out if you don't hear from them within the limits stated.
The best way to secure food benefits is usually to apply in person; if you don't hear from the agency and have a chance to go there directly, do that when able. But they're going to need your husband's income info if he's still in the household. If he's not, make sure to provide them with a written, signed statement attesting to the day he left.
