Butterly, have an Idea. Domestic shelters have connections; reach out and tell them your story. See if they work with dentists in the area of women affected by domestic abuse. You would be surprised how people help other people.

You someday might help another person in need. I know you don't like to ask for help, but some times we need to. I reached out to friends to help me get my house in shape to sell. I had a dozen Men and women help me clean and organize it. It was hard to ask, but they came and helped me a to . I am for ever grateful. I will repay it tenfold. (Only to have xah come home and kick a hole in my wall).

I always say you can ask for help as long as you are willing to help someone else in need, if you can.

Butterfly, you could also get one of those surgical masks to cover your mouth at work and say you are coming down with something.

I'm glad you two aren't together any more.

I'm sorry that happened to you. I was abused by family members who totally got away with it, so I can relate.

I couldn't without you all and I'm not sure I would be where I am without the support I have received from you all.

Just checking in to see how things went today - were you able to pick up the fixed piece from the dentisted this afternoon? Was thinking about you and just hope you're doing well. (((Hugs)))

Yes thank you I got it at 4pm! Spent the day in work with a scarf round my face told people I had an absess. DS was with me at the dentist today as he had an appointment he asked me today what happened that I lost my teeth. I told him I was assaulted he asked who by and I couldn't answer I told him it happened a long time ago, I couldn't actually say it was your dad son. He didn't push I'm not going to lie for him anymore but I also won't hurt my son.

Just read all this and sending you (((HUGS))). I know it is many many years later, but you are still paying for it, and it seems like he should be financially paying for it. Maybe something that could be in your divorce decree? I understand wanting to put it to bed for yourself too. I got a front tooth kicked out in a soccer game - i know the embarrassment when my bridge needs fixed. Just (((MOREHUGS)))

I would like to donate a little money towards some new teeth for you. Any chance that you could set up a simple account on the "go fund me" website ?

I hope this does not break any rules here.

Butterfly, I am so sorry that happened to you. I'm glad you got it fixed but still.... it totally stinks that you are still dealing with this so many years later. Big hugs.

Mountainman I am speechless. Thank you so much for your kind and generous offer and please I hope I do not offend you but I couldn't accept. I do not have the words to describe how this has made me feel.

Thank you so. Dry very much, thank you doesn't even cover it.

I think he's "dry very much," too.

I'm glad you've got your smile back!
