Post from Mike's daughter - sad news
I remember when Mike was new here, this was his avatar: He was acutely aware of how that image reflected the way his life felt for a while.
Later, as his recovery took wings, he changed to the current image of the Moose Victorious. His avatars never failed to make me smile.

I'm so sorry to hear this sad news, and I'll miss that sweet blue moose avatar. Thank you so much for thinking of us, and taking the time to let us know of his passing. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I remember relating very well to Mike's moose tongue in the fan blades for a long while. His postings helped me to see a different side of my reactions and anger at the X-Mr. Fandy.
I am glad that Mike was with family in his final months. He spoke of how much he enjoyed being with the grandkids. (you can read his postings for yourself).
I am so very sorry for your loss, your father helped many people here. he will be missed.

This is such sad news. I truly enjoyed Mike's non nonsense posts and his sense of humor, I always got a lot out of them.
My deepest condolences to you and your family.
You will be missed Mike

Thankyou and GOD Bless.
Hello everyone, this is Mike's daughter. I wanted to let you know that he passed away Thursday evening. He died peacefully in his sleep probably from a heart attack, at the age of 60. He passed surrounded by his grandkids for the holiday. I know this group was a huge part of his life and I know that everyone here helped him get through some difficult times, so thank you.
My deepest condolences to you and your family. I know at times they say when you go into the rooms to find the person that has what you need. Mike was that person for me. He had that peace, calmness and serenity.
I am so sorry for your loss.
I will light a candle for him today, so that he can see the light that he left in many peoples hearts.
