Feet firmly planted. No worries. We have a history together & have been friends albeit w a 2 yr break for some time. So I am not wanting nor prepared to give anything more than friendship & have made that clear. It's all good. And if down the road it becomes something else it will but for now I am very happy that I've reconnected w a good friend

I'm the only one w tattoos! Just one and its tasteful. I'd actually seen him in a bathing suit before actually at a work summer event a few yrs ago. I'm not trying to sound vain at all here but of the two of us Im the one who rocks the bathing suit! By he's a super nice guy and that is what I like. I'm not hung up on perfect body stuff in a man. I'm way harsher a critic of my own physical appearance than I am anyone else's.

Objectively he's average looking but because he's such a great guy I find him more attractive than I think he is on an objective level. Does that make sense?

We had a fantastic day today. Absolutely great. Played paddleball, have each other good natured crap as we played, had a bit of a fun competition, talked, swam etc...

Stayed totally in friend zone today but there's no denying there's something lurking below the surface... ( truth be told I would have liked a little flirting from him today but he was nothing but gentleman like all day)

Gorgeous beach day and great company. Couldn't ask for a nicer day.

I am beyond happy for you!! It gives me hope. I ready a book of fables to my boys last night and there was one story about an ostrich who saw a lovely lady ostrich in the park. Well he follows her and buys her flowers and himself a new set of clothes. He then decides he is not ready to approach her yet. But tells himself it is OK is he just not ready but what a great week of having the hope and good feelings of wanting to love someone.

This made me feel good. All those feelings of the excitement of what might be when you meet someone you like is the funnest part.

Just be in the moment and enjoy yourself.
