Susie, I'm in awe....if I *knew* he was on a date tonight with some hot babe...I would be heart broken (as distorted as that reaction may be). That's one GOOD thing about no contact...I DON'T know what he's doing! I worry that a mutual friend will inform me one day...but I can't waste today worrying about tomorrow.
Honestly, your strength is far more than mine!
I'm amazed at how volatile the emotions are within a 24 hour span.
At 5am, I was crying...ON the treadmill.
7am...anger.
At work...indifference.
Walking...contentment.
During Al Anon meeting...tears.
Now...frustration.
Its just like that graphic LaTeeDa posted. Up and down. Only, I'm doing this to myself.
I just can't quiet that voice in my head that is screaming out, "Is THIS how it will all end???" I can't wait until the day I have your fortitude!
