Many women base their self-esteem on having a man...any man. After reading thousands of posts on this forum, I find that most women have weak or no bounderies and fear being alone.

A very large % of both men and women who post on F & F were raised in the home of an alcoholic/substance user, and thus, have a 50% chance of marrying an addict. Then to top that off, the parent who was not the addict, was codependent/enabler, so it becomes a cycle, we carry our childhood into adulthood.
