Maybe someday, Miss Live, we can meet in person. And we can paint your home your favorite colors and dream up a garden fit just for you.

I have to admit that little Stevie did not jump into the basket. I staged that picture. But he didn't seem to mind

If anyone wants to share more fall photos, my all means, please do!

How wonderful! That Steve is a real ham! So cute, I love the picture of him with the apple in his mouth, too cute!

My orchids are in full bloom now, my yard is alive with color, such a serene view. Yours is outstanding!

Such cute, cute pups! I have no green thumb, so it's nice to live vicariously. In addition to the cutest doggies, and the prettiest fall garden, you are a really good photographer. Seriously, I would definitely buy a whole picture calendar of your fur babies in the garden.

I'm actually quite the amateur photographer. I took 150 photos yesterday and only showed the photos that came out well. There were plenty of rejects in the lot!

I agree that there are prize winners in there tho'

The one of Stevie carrying the apple for sure! I showed that to my guy and he was all: ahhhhhh
I had to prompt him to look at more than the doggie.

Just wait til Spring when I get him digging! I will tell him that it is all FD's fault!

The digging is hard, especially here in Virginia--all that red Virginia clay and ROCKS certainly hamper progress. I saw some burning bushes along the highway the other day, planted in mass. What a beautiful display of intense red in the foreground. In the background were trees of red, gold, purple, and amber. It was a delight for the eyes. So, my future garden plans will be to add some evergreens along my back fence line to give me some privacy from the neighbors and then add a row of dwarf burning bushes in front of them for brilliant fall color. But now my pockets are empty, so it will have to be accomplished over time. Each year, my plans are bigger than my pockets. So I add what I can, when I can, and I'm thankful for each new addition, no matter how small it is.
