What are you doing for YOU

this weekend?

I think I will take dogs and children and tennis balls out to the lake and let everybody run and jump and let the dogs swim if they want to. We will wear ourselves out getting fresh air and sun.

Well, our lakes are still frozen over but I'll be going to see one of my best friends play music at a restaurant we really like tonight , and definitely sleeping in tomorrow (after a 70-hour work week, whew)

Today is baking cupcakes for a friend's birthday.
Tomorrow babysitting her son all day so they can go wine tasting.
Sunday is driving 13 hours back home.
Monday is a 3 hour (one way) trip to the "big city" with my husband for eye and teeth appointments.
But Tuesday I can relax!

Romping with dogs, et. al. sounds GREAT!

Going to a friend's house to watch the super bowl-- he's a musician and gatherings at his house tend to turn into impromptu jams, so I will get to eat, spend time with my friends, and sing, always a good combination.

This week-end (but starting today) I:

Went shopping for something cheap but *sexy* to wear, just cause.
Will spend some quality time with my daughter, and will perhaps get to sleep in until 8 a.m. (whoohooo 8 a.m.!)
Will go to see a tattoo artist to discuss my cover-up job
Will be meeting with a good friend for 5 hours of chatting
Will be flirting whenever the fancy strikes me just for the simple pleasure of doing so
Will be going to tango for 4 hours on sunday
Will NOT let XAH affect me in any way, shape of form

Ta-dah.

Alright Anvil!!!!!

You are on your way now, girl!

As for me, I'll be shoveling my way out of the house. We are supposed to get two feet of snow between tonight and tomorrow here. I am hoping to make it out by Sunday so I can drive an hour to see my mom. She had surgery this week and could use a meal other than a microwave dinner and Dad's no good in the kitchen.

I'm thinking a roasted turkey breast and veggies....

Not much for me, I suppose. It just feels good to get out of the house and help someone who could use it, I guess.

Oh- but made chowder, soda bread, and choc-chip cookies to see me through. (So I will be studying while taking breaks from eating!!)

But, its my Birthday on Monday and I'm not at work so I plan on getting a haircut, indulging myself a little and will be going out for something to eat with family. This I AM looking forward to!!

I will be shoveling that two feet of snow that is due whenever the mood strikes - may let it wait until Sunday.
I will read, watch old movies, play games and/or work on a puzzle and hang one more picture up on the walls. ( I have been slowly decorating the walls finally in my house) Sometimes I listened to lectures on line and maybe I will talk to one of my children. I mostly want to rest! Was going to exercise but I think the shoveling will do.

May start a thread if the snow gets bad - have done that before and found it fun. Talking about how much, funny stories or pics.

Was going to hang out the washing, clean windows and security screens, rake up leaves in my little back yard, BUT:

Had my second face peel treatment on Wednesday and my face looks like an old house with peeling paint falling off and even if I were allowed to go out in the sun, I wouldn't dare.

Will cover up the "mummy look" face, and sneak over to RABF's to watch horse racing and hopefully have a few winning bets.

Loved hearing about 2ft of snow and the shovelling, as I am in a skimpy top and light pants, have all the windows and doors open and the fans going.....it is 31C (89F) and humid here.

God bless

I think I'm going to go eat at my favorite place Chipotle and go shopping at the book store and maybe even buy some clothes.

Rent a chick flick Saturday and then go to a Superbowl party Sunday!

Boy do I need a take care of me MONTH! I'm trying to plan a trip to somewhere to, but can't decide where to go yet. But I am looking forward to just being with myself and enjoying traveling somewhere.

I plan on playing in the snow with my two boys.
My one son is just a little over a year old, so I am thinking he is going to love playing in the snow.
My oldest son has a snowball maker, so I know he is going to play with that.
Oh, and I am getting my eyebrows waxed.

Today, after I went to the gym (it was about time)
I bought myself a beautiful bouquet of tulips and some soy candles . . .
just because I deserve it.

Then rented a DVD (Juno)

Wow I love hearing about all the snow.......as I am with Jadmack (well not directly if you know what I mean!! LOL!!) I am in my swimmers and going for a dip in the pool with my little girls, my son is at a birthday party...........its so hard to imagine the intense cold whilst in the intense heat!!

But earlier today I got up and made a nice cup of tea and then re joined weight watchers as I need help with these last few kilos (all 12 of them actually!!)....so I have joined up and had my first weeks loss of 600 grams so I am feeling good!! It is something I have wanted to do for myself for a long while and I am so happy I have done it :0).

I love these threads - I find them most uplifting! Thank You. Have a great weekend everyone take care Phiz

I enjoy hearing from you guys in Australia. Makes me think that someday it will be warm outside again.

My ex BF's daughter lives in Cairns and she's complaining of the heat right now.
