hey spinner thats funny because I am from the Uk have lived here ten years.....I am in Cairns Too!! and it is very hot and humid and was very stormy yesterday thunder lightning the absolute works...but still very hot!!!......but I really miss the cold.....and I cant wait to visit my family In england for Christmas this year!!.....it is amazing to get on the plane here in the intense heat...and then 24 hours later landing in London in the intense cold!!! I love it though :0) take Care Phiz

That's neat Phiz that you are in Cairns. It looks like a beautiful place. Here in Canada we have 2 feet of snow and ice everywhere and it's cold and windy. I wish we were going to get the 2 ft of snow everyone else is expecting but there's nothing but cold and sun in the forecast.

Okay, A) heating pads are HEAVENLY! Yay!
B) I made red velvet cupcakes and they ROCKED and were so FUN! I decorated them with flowers. I would highly recommend taking the Wilson's cake decorating classes at Michaels. They are a blast and you will gain the ability to make cakes that will blow everyone away!
C) It's so fun to feel connected to all of you all over the world at one point in time! Some in the heat, some in the snow, me in the rainy rainy rainy-ness and feel the LOVE and CONNECTION of all you good folk, wherever you are!

Great thread.
Went to our Alanon meeting.
Had GREAT pizza with healthy toppings for lunch at our NEW "best pizza ever" place.
Will work out lifting weights using my newest super quick, once a week, ever so intensive routine. Am getting stronger every week, MUST be getting YOUNGER as well. It's the only explanation I have. Ha!
Then the library for 1-2 hours.
Called axw to give her an update on LMC, got voice mail.....that I'm grateful for. I still allow communication with her to affect me. However I do pray before a call, and my response is MUCH improved today compared to 3 years ago. Man do these things ever take time.
Oh......new 4 dollar pillows from Target for LMC and me. Why, oh why, do I wait so long to do this? At 4 dollars each they are quite disposable, and soooo wonderful when new!

Honey and I went out to a new casino because they had get $20 free play with $5 our money play. I didn't win anything...maybe next time 
I am having a great time watching him so engrossed in a book he is oblivious to all else..that is usually ME with my nose stuck in the pages!
I got into a pair of jeans one size smaller..that is major cause for celebration...I told him to eat the ice cream, it doesn't go with grapefruit! LOL
Tomorrow is my birthday and my dad posted a story on honey's facebook about when I was born...the bill for bringing me into this world was $85 LOL...I cost much more now! I was a preemie and lost weight to under 4 pounds...I lost more than that off my belly last month! wow.
That cake decorating class and red velvet could ruin a good diet but sounds so FUN! and YUMMY!
Tomorrow I will do whatever I want...well, can't jump a plane to another continent..but I might daydream about it!
