Is there a way to make things less convient for him? I know it seems extreme but, lock the fridge, Turn the water heater off when he is there alone? don't have a home phone, move his stuff to the garage....What if the house wasn't owned by you? Are your sons grown? maybe you could put it in just their name and they could say they are renting it to you and NOT him??

or seriously change the locks....what would he do if he came home and couldn't get in? Does he pay the bills? What would the police say if he called them and said I can't get into my house my wife changed the locks? Can they really force him to come back in?
