I decorate my Christmas tree with handmade ornaments I've picked up at Valley View Farms in Cockeysville, MD - home of the ULTIMATE Christmas shop! - as well as some homemade ones I've found in my travels.

My favorite holiday dessert is English Trifle or a flaming plum pudding.

My favorite holiday tradition is putting all the presents under the Christmas tree when everyone else is asleep - around 2 a.m. on Christmas morning and having hints on the "to/from" sticker as to what the gift might be.

My tree is topped by a huge bow, with gold transparent ribbons tied on the top branch behind the ribbon - they cascade down the sides of the tree.

All-time favorite Christmas song: "Sleigh Ride," as performed by the Boston Pops Orchestra under the late Arthur Fiedler, conductor. I love the clip-clop of the horses hooves and snap of the whip that's heard during the song. Although I must admit, I love the resounding beat of anything Manheim Steamroller does!

Okay, it's corney and hokey, but I still love the movie "White Christmas" with Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye. I always cry at the end.

All the lights on my house and tree are white.

When I lived in Maryland, my favorite holiday tradition was to attend the boat parade of lights down at the inner harbor area in downtown Annapolis, then join the mobs who went to all the pubs. My favorite "atering hole was visiting a REAL Irish pub on Main Street. The gentleman who owned it was a "Murrane" (my dad's mom was a "Morrin" born in County Cork) and we used to talk about Irish geneology. His bartenders also made an outstanding Irish Coffee!

P.S. - Three words that mean Christmas to me: "Goodwill towards men."
