Just came home from walking and driving around the college. No luck. I keep hoping someone will see him and call me. I'm afraid of him getting hurt out there. He must be terrified out there in the big wild world.

Dogs are pretty resourceful, Least, and even shy ones are social. I sure hope you find him soon!

I know it sounds silly but I keep thinking that Jack has found a playmate and that, soon enough, you will have two dogs show up at your door.

I contacted the college radio station and asked them to do a lost dog announcement. Gave them the info and my number, and said there was a reward for finding him. Praying someone calls me with news of him. It's been over two weeks and he must be scared to death, poor little Jack.

Given all the Jack sightings near the college, I can't help thinking it's a matter of when, not if, you find him.

Hoping it's SOON. Maybe the radio announcement will do the trick!

How awful Least you must devastated. I am a fellow dog owner and would be worried sick if either one of them went missing.
I hope your boy finds his way home very soon x

He is a Shiba Inu. Pure bred and rescued when his owner gave him up almost seven years ago when he got heartworms. He didn't want to pay for the treatment. The rescue lady paid for it and he successfully beat heartworms.

I'm hoping today I hear something.

Have the campus police, town police, sheriff, vets, dog warden, humane societies, shelters, radio stations, groomers been notified? We lost a dog several years ago Least. It's heart wrenching. Come home Jack.

Just got a call from a lady who said she saw him Friday, south of town, out in the country. She said the dog was afraid, sounds like Jack, and had a blue collar thing on, he was wearing a blue harness. It's dark now and I can't drive in the dark out in the country. I'm going to go out there tomorrow morning and go door to door with flyers.

I need a miracle...
