confidence

12 days sober and feeling many benefits. Going for a job interview today and I have zero confidence. People think I am self assured and a little quirky but inside i am terrified of failing, it cripples me. Maybe that's one of the reasons I drank a lot. I guess staying sober and rebuilding my life will give me more confidence. I just want to stay under the duvet today.

Hey, fake it 'till you make it! You have solid experience and clarity of mind being sober...I believe in you, why not some other stranger?

People expect job candidates to be nervous, so don't worry about that. Just do your best.

hi sweet im the same. people think im confident and outgoing because i compete in fitness etc but im far from. fake it till u make it can and does work.

Good luck today! You can do it. Start rebuilding your life and be patient and kind with yourself. Everything will come in time, including confidence. Until then, put on your best face and best foot forward.

And remember we don't drink. Not to celebrations and not to stresses or disappointments.
