Hey Lis - those truffles sound amazing! Avocado? Wow! I'm usually pretty lazy in the kitchen myself, but I credit the recipes always flying around this thread, and the time of year, for inspiring me of late. The pumpkin bars taste great.

Liz - nice to see you again! I didn't know you had a daughter in school in Montreal - that's not too far at all. She must be lonely with all her pals gone home for the holiday. How many days sober are you now?

WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO 2nd! UNLESS your 2nd post counts (which I'm thinking NOT!!!!) I'm moving UP....

Ro, I don't like cooking cuz it takes toooooooooooo long and by the time I'm finished prepping, I'm sick of it already! So quick and easy is my motto! I was googling avocado recipes and it just popped up. I made it more out of curiosity than anything else. But it was really good..creamy and rich.

I'm home and the resentment is all gone YAY

Went to just the 730 meeting and then to diner with some friends. My daughter went to see Paranormal and called me 4 times when am I coming home, lol. I got home and every light is on in the house. She called me after the movie and told me the ending now I don't have to go see the damn movie. Anyway she tells me only 20 minutes of the movie was scary and she's not afraid, ha ha, that's why all the lights are on!!! Well she saved me 15.00. Ro if you want to know the ending, I know it now.

I can't believe we are on another part. Ro those pumpkin cheesecake bars sound really good. The choc truffles with avocado, well that's another story. I don't do well with certain mixes of food types.

Just got back a bit ago. INCREDIBLE meal. Lots of money raised for the children and I won two gifts after buying raffle tickets. Well -- actually three if you count the ticket I gave to the boy sitting next to me. He looked about 12 or so, and I thought he'd have fun picking something to "win."

Hahaha -- usually I NEVER win anything. Perhaps I should play the lottery this week so I can pay for the three in college and set some aside for the 8th grader!

Ro -- I'm at 40 days.

And counting!

I have so much to catch up on here. So many new peeps to get to know and introduce myself to those that don't know me as well since I've been gone.

I'll try and get around to that tomorrow if I have time.

I am a yoga instructor... forget who asked.A lot of what I blabber on about will be yoga related, food/ cooking related, kid related & Dexter. All my main loves and reasons for living.

Mouth still hurting. More than yesterday. Hope yours starts to feel better soon too Tanho. If I'm not markedly feleing improvement by Monday or Tuesday I'll call the dentist back. Or at least my gf... she works there.

Shout out to IO! I have missed you :ghug3.

Quick Detention Boy explanation: it's his nickname when I talk about him on here and also youtube when he posts videos. You see... a few years ago he was getting detention just about everyday due to not finishing his homework. It backfired as he actually liked staying in with the teacher lol. He doesn't mind the nickname by the way.

Good night peeps. I have to extract the Red Hawk Fly CD we got at the Kirtan tonight and put in on my itouch so I might use it during class tomorrow. They were awesome! My son had them all autograph it.

Can't sleep so thought I'd pop in. I hate when I can't sleep

I got this message on my skype and I'm not sure its for real or not. Did anyone else get it? Does it look legit, should I follow what it says? I always think I'm being scammed and probably am half the time.
