Who was the first VW bus nut? Venus or Bim? Whomever, it's infectious!
I get the impression that Bim was quite a hippie back in the day....
I was born in the 60's but wasn't a city boy 'till the 70's.
Mrs D is loving her visit with dear daughter, I slept on both sides of the bed last night!
I should've taken holidays this week.
I am going to need to take some time off soon to finish all the projects I have on the go before the snow falls.
On the Sunday morning bus.

I was the first VW bus pusher in this thread. Ya'll were posting other buses, I thought it would be fun. I had VW Beetles, two of them. The vans were big among the surfers, and I grew up at the beach in Florida in the 60s/70s.
I'm also older, so I'm claiming First on the basis of that alone!
I am absolutely a peace-signing hippie. I will claim that title all day long. Big sunglasses, curly long blonde hair, bell bottoms. Super free-spirit.
...and I was like that in the sixties, too.
Blonder because of the sun, but otherwise the same. Maybe a bit more curmudgeonly. Sans the beer.

I dropped Aly an email hoping she is keeping well, and yes, she’s doing ok. Her mom is getting frailer bless her. Told her we’re all missing her here on the Soberbus too.
