Pretty lake Alpine, it's as calm as a pond.

Shower curtains are a pita to wash. Putting them in with a load of towels helps.

CK, on this trip we carried them because the water was pretty warm and fairly shallow. During the colder months and the cold water then yes, we wear life jackets.

bim, imo the Adventures of Tintin where the caracter Captain Haddock comes from is equally enjoyable for children and adults. I know a few adults who are die hards fans like me. I guess we never grew up.

If you care, the Wikipedia page of the author, Georges Remi, is worth a look. Reversed and pronounced in French his initials are Hergé, which he used as his pen name.
