When I was a kid, my mom had an 8 track of Sousa Marching Band music. I used to play it over and over. I've never seen a true marching band live - other than the Shriners at the circus. I got excited a few year's back when our local high school was going to organize one but it never happened. I should make it a bucket list item.

I have not seen a marching band either bim, apart from military bands for royal stuff they are not a thing here (at least I don't think they are)

In 1980 or 81 I (and a few other bikers) fell off my motorbike at a place called the Ladybower Reservoir - I think that is in Derbyshire. It wasn't a very powerful bike and I wasn't going very fast so I was OK. My mum bribed me to get rid of it soon after. Good luck with the hand physio.
