Yep - Mizz. That's out back in my woods. I have a wee bit over 4 acres and about 3 acres of it is wooded. My next door neighbor one removed owns the other half of the center of a suburban block. Between us we have a protected area for all kinds of wildlife. The trail cam has captured all the usual suspects (deer, red & grey fox, redtail & broadwing hawk, barred owl, skunks, racoons, opossom, bunny, chipmunk, grey/red/& flying squirrel, groundhog) and more rare stuff (mink, turkey, fisher, coyote).

On the sober bus - it's a rainy day, so Ruthie and I are into getting wet.

I recognise that piece of music, is it well known?

With the fate of the EVER GIVEN still unknown we better take extra care with the Sober Bus.

Why does the ship say Evergreen on the side but the reported name is Ever Given?

If anyone knows....don't go Googley it, I don't care that much.

Evergreen is the name of the shipping line.
Other vessels of other lines will have e.g. Maersk Line, or Caledonian MacBrayne, or Hamburg Süd on the sides.
The vessel name is at the bows and the stern.

Ha.

So its name really is Ever Given. That's a silly name, but then it doesn't really have to be elegant if it's a cargo ship I suppose.

I find ships' names fascinating - like those of racehorses, there will often be a particular reason for the choice.

Here is a list of the container ships in the Evergreen Line, includes a number with the "Ever" prefix:

Aircraft - and buses - may also be named.

Oh, wow.

189 of those cargo vessels in their fleet.

That's a lot of ships....thanks, Caramel.

Yes, about ten years ago I saw photos of the owner of Evergreen's then brand new private yacht - it was over 80 metres long if memory serves.

On the Soberbus

Loving the safari buses.

We’ve got a keyless fob for the car and keep it protected in a rfid box at home, so hopefully can’t be stolen. Also got a rfid wallet when we’re out (whenever that happens nowadays)

I have an RFID wallet, but hadn't heard of one for a keyfob before. Mrs D. and I are in the habit of using the door lock buttons instead of the fob to lock our doors. Dunno if that makes a difference. We do keep a spare in a basket close to the front door, we should probably keep that in an RFID pouch at minimum. Thanks Mags!

Happy Monday morning to all. I have a three day work week ahead. yay!

I am so off the grid I had to Google RFID.

No one will want to steal my old Subaru unless it's for parts.

ON the bus.

I have no idea why searching for images of Subaru buses led me to lots of VW van images. I think maybe people were putting Subaru engines in them?
