I missed a mile stone. Yesterday was the 17th meaning 1400 days for me.
I saw an old fashioned Ice-Cream truck rolling thru my neighborhood yesterday, music playing and all. I can't remember the last time I saw one of those. He was going fairly slowly down a busy street, I don't think the drivers behind him were amused.

Welcome to the sober bus cerd2000. Alcohol must be one of the oldest addictions. It was prevalent in Ancient Greece and Rome. Addictive behaviour is probably as old as mankind.

Back on the bus for the rest of the day... because it is getting way too HOT here in California.....
The fires are getting out of control near my mom who lives in C.V.V. area of california... she just turned 83 and has M.S. and pretty much melts in hot
days.... not good unless she has that air condition on ....but she is a frail little person....
which I dearly love ..but a 4 hour drive one way...without
traffic....
Need to find a cool spot on the bus and just chill out for a while....

Yea..stay safe and watch out for those lightning strikes as they are no fun... with Calif. as dry as it is.....
On the bus and willing to sit in a cool spot....
