I enjoy growing succulents. Just be careful. I apparently introduced mealy bugs to my collection last summer with a new addition and had an incurable spread that necessitated a trashing and starting over of my windowsill garden.
Sad news finding out that my father in law passed in his sleep last night. He was one of us and had thirty years sobriety. This on the heels of my brother in law, who lives next door, losing his mother over the weekend. With all the Covid cases and deaths here, funeral homes are running far behind. During the lock down here, no more than ten people are allowed to attend a memorial gathering, so it will be an awkward situation for the family members.
I had no idea that VW bus memorabilia was still such a thing. There is something unforgettable about the sound of an old VW engine, at least when they ran.

I'm so sorry Stargazer. There's never a good time. I know I was pretty numb when my parents died. Prayers for your family.

Harriet, what an amazing story. So much beauty arose from a small, broken leaf - hmmm, all of us are a little like that. We were broken, set apart from the crowd, somehow managed to form a sprout of hope which took root, led us to recovery and one another. . . . .
