The meal sounds absolutely amazing! No alcohol means you got to enjoy all of the deliciousness, even tho it was a ton of work to prepare. I hope someone else cleaned up! Congrats on staying sober. Keep on!

I am so glad you stayed sober.

My heart breaks for those kids. Thank God you were there and present for them .

Hey Rock - I do have to agree with Callas here - tho I am proud you stayed sober!

My consistent $0.02 on this topic - there is no need to test ourselves so early and SO major-ly!!!

BUT. If we do, and stay sober (again, we have stacked those odds against us big time and usually? the house wins), then preparing for POST-mortem, if you will, is essential. What do I mean? I mean how are you going to stay sober today, tomorrow and if you choose to participate in the next Family Day??

Taking pride in weathering such a monumental situation is dangerous.

And to round out my usual posts like this: what's your plan to stay sober now?
