Please stay on the Sober bus - pt.24
It was called Netscape Navigator
Netscape served as the base for a browser-only spinoff called Mozilla Firefox
The Sober Bus wouldn't exist without the web indeed Dragon...
Lets celebrate! :
There used to be a weekend-long music festival every year called Livestock....hosted by one of the local rock stations.....same idea as Woodstock but on a much smaller scale; I went six times....talk about euphoric recall!
Amazing about the WWW. I think it has saved many lives by bringing knowledge and people together so easily.
On the bus
I've mentioned before that I live with a daily drinker. Last night he hit the booze so hard that he was picking fights over the stupidest things. Wanted to fight about a loaf of bread and water spilt on the floor in the garage. The interesting part was he was mad at the bread and the water, as if they did something to him. Then he was mad at me because I was not upset with the bread and water.
Poor bread and spilt water, they didn't really mean to do it.
On a more positve note the ice cream I bought changed the serving size marked on the container from 1/2 cup to 2/3 cup!

He should beware because Karma could hit him back anytime.
Even through a slice of bread or a few drops of spilt water...
Peace Sober Buskateers!

I'm old enough to remember using this way before Microsoft's Internet Explorer

I loved Netscape. It was the fastest browser around back in the day.
I joined the web mid 90's. It was so primitive and unregulated back then. Anything could be found online. AOL came in to help provide some order to the madness of the online experience for all the newbies. I think I spent something like four thousand dollars on my first new desktop, which replaced a used Packard Bell desktop I had with a 100mb hard drive. We mainly just talked ice hockey with folks online back then. But not for too long a time, because we were charged by the minute for usage. It's all pretty incredible for someone like myself whom grew up using IBM punch cards!

Time2, You could have been describing me back in my 20's! Being drunk and mad at inanimate objects. And wanting to pick a fight. So glad those days are over.
Stargazer, I remember punch cards!
We had a punch card machine at work that was the size of a desk. I supervised the punch card clerk. I would inspect every card at the end of the day, take them next door to the night shift people and next morning pick up a large print out of open work orders. (I was in the maintenance field in the Army.)
